Since he was a boy, owner Martin Stubbs accompanied his builder Dad Gordon (well known to his chums as Gusser or Gus) on all the building jobs he could, at weekends and in the school holidays.
Gus was hailed as “the best plasterer in Cheshire” and he hoped that one day Martin (seen here together with his daughter, Lauren) might earn that title for himself. That determination to be the best, along with the great memories of times spent with his Dad at work was the driving force behind “Martin Stubbs Building Services”.
